Zoe is 18 Months old and, like with Zach, this is officially my favorite age. If I could bottle her up and keep her like this, I think I would. She is talking up a storm and will pretty much say anything you tell her to. For her brother, this means lots of giggles making her say things like "poop" and "fart". :) She has mastered basic business terms like "smoothie", "chicken star" and "french fries". She is a total jokester (this must have come from Jason...) and will often tease us by offering something and then pulling it away, or asking for something and then not taking it----all with a precious and yet sly smile.
She has decided she is completely over the baby stage---no high chair, no bottles, no milk and probably soon no diapers or crib. She has mastered the "terrible two's" requirements of yelling "No" and "Mine' and throwing temper tantrums. She has a total sweet tooth so the tantrums are often over not being able to eat a candy or cookie. When you ask if she wants to go to bed, she, matter-of-factly says "no" but then rubs her eyes and snuggles into her "gee-gee" (blanket) on the way up the stairs. She has been sleeping 12+ hours and napping 2.5-3 hours a day which has been fantastic (and must mean she is growing again!).
Zoe has everyone around her wrapped around her finger. She knows what she wants and knows how to get it. She is type-A, but a softie. She loves to be cuddled and to touch you, she loves her brother and wants to do everything that he does. For that matter, she is a total busybody and watches and listens to everything that anyone does and says.
I love seeing her personality shaping up and becoming all her own. World, watch out, here comes Zoe......
