We had an amazing visit to Disneyland this week. Up on his own @5am.....8am flight, 10:30am in the park....no lines, met Mickey twice, and chased down Goofy....parade, trains, trains, trains......Splash Mountain & Thunder Mountain were the fav's.....and the Monorail. And then a second day at CA Adventure where we ran into friends and he got to play in the play area with them (it's a small world after all!) and did the rapids twice (thought daddy getting soaked was hilarious). Then flew home. Phew. Love seeing Disney through the eyes of an almost 5 year old....it's magical, analytical, and pure excitement every second. If he wasn't trying to figure out if the Pirates were real, he was trying to figure out how the roller coaster worked. And then it was very cute that he wanted to leave half way through the 2nd day because he "missed his sister". (Translation: "I can't wait to get that Monorail Toy I've been obsessing about for the last 24 hours.)Thursday, May 17, 2012
A Magical Day!
