We can't believe its been almost a year already! Zach is 11 months old and as fun as ever! He is starting to run everywhere, making us pick up the pace to keep after him. He is extremely curious and nosy and wants to do everything we are doing. There is not a dull moment when he's awake!
He loves to wrestle with Winston and will now jump on top of him and roll all over the floor, sqealing with delight. He recently learned to take off his own diaper (much to mom's surprise when she found him naked in his crib after a nap) so no more running around in just a diaper. (Not sure what we will do when he learns to take off his shorts!)
He's become a bit of a picky eater---he has to pick and choose himself what he will eat....won't try anything from our spoons...and prefers things he can bite off of himself and eat like a "big boy" His main staples are bread and cheese or any sort of form of that.
He's become much more verbal and we can tell that he REALLY wishes we could understand what he's saying, but we are getting there little by little. He now knows what the cow says ("Mmmm"), waves Hi and Bye at everyone, and claps his hands whenever we say "Yay" or clap ours. He also smacks his lips when he's hungry or wants to eat food.
This past weekend we had a mini family reunion and celebrated his Great-Great-Grandma's 90th Birthday! Here are some pics from the weekend and a few other recent ones.
